Product Information

This multifunctional HDMI product allows a single 4K source to be split to 2 screens. It can extract audio via digital optical S/PDIF (Toslink) and stereo analogue audio signal for use with an amplifer or AVR.

Special features include upscale from 1080p to 4K or Downscale 4K signal to 1080p. It can be confgured to allow 4K to be sent to 1 output and 1080p to the other output. Set up is simple and is achieved by using the 5 way joystick and On Screen Display (OSD on output 1 only).

An EDID management function is also in place and is accessed via the set-up menu. It is a perfect solution for integrating a 4K source such as SKY Q into a 1080P HD modulated system or enabling a 1080p TV to receive 4K content in a matrix installation.

HDMI Modulated Systems
It is possible to use this product to provide 4K content and HD content to the same system. For example a SKY Q set-top-box could provide 4K to a main TV and downscale using the HDMISS01 to 1080p and be connected to an Antiference HDMI modulator. The signal can then be distributed over an RF coax cable network to a number of other TV sets.
