Highly Efficient Generator Design

The AT-VM740xML features a paratoroidal coil construction with two PCUHD (Pure Copper Ultra High Drawability) coils per channel, stacked one behind the other. This advanced generator design improves electromagnetic performance, while a slight reduction in coil turns, compared with previous VM series cartridges, helps enhance transient response for a cleaner, more natural and lifelike sound.

Nude Microlinear Stylus for Exceptional Detail

The Nude Microlinear stylus is designed to trace the record groove with outstanding precision, helping to reveal fine detail, clarity and low distortion across the frequency range. It is an excellent choice for listeners who want a refined, open and highly accurate sound.

Easy to Upgrade and Experiment

Because all AT-VMx and VM Series cartridges share the same body design and a replaceable stylus assembly, you can easily experiment with a wide range of compatible replacement styli to tailor the sound to your preference.
