The AT-VMN30xEN is a 0.3 × 0.7 mil elliptical nude replacement stylus compatible with the AT-VM530xEN and VM530EN cartridges. Unlike a bonded stylus where a diamond tip is glued onto a metal shank, the nude construction is shaped from a single piece of diamond, resulting in lower tip mass for more accurate tracking. The elliptical profile features two radii — a wider front radius that rides the centre of the groove, and a smaller side radius that makes greater contact with the groove walls than a conical stylus for a higher level of fidelity. As with all AT-VMx and VM Series cartridges, the shared body design means the stylus is also compatible with almost any other VMx or VM Series cartridge body (excluding mono models).
