The AT-XP7/H is the AT-XP7 DJ cartridge supplied pre-mounted on the AT-HS6BK aluminium die-cast headshell, ready for fitting to any standard half-inch mount tonearm. The VM dual magnet construction is paired with a tapered aluminium cantilever and 0.3 × 0.7 mil elliptical bonded stylus, delivering improved frequency and phase response and reduced distortion compared to a conical stylus. The output level and impedance characteristics are tailored to professional DJ mixing boards, and the XP Series electromagnetic engine body delivers higher output voltage than VM95 Series cartridges for improved compatibility with professional DJ mixer phono inputs. The cartridge is also cross-compatible with VM95 Series replacement styli, and with the ATN-XP3 and ATN-XP5 styli as upgrade options in addition to the standard ATN-XP7. The XP Series stylus suspension is specifically designed for intensive DJ use including manual and back-cueing.
