The AT2050 is a multi-pattern condenser microphone designed to deliver flexible, reliable performance in both studio and live sound applications. It offers switchable cardioid, omnidirectional and figure-of-eight polar patterns, making it suitable for a wide range of sources including vocals, piano, strings, drum overheads and guitar amplifiers. Its large dual diaphragm capsule is gold-vapourised and aged to achieve smooth, natural sound with low noise over years of use.

A switchable 80 Hz high-pass filter and 10 dB pad increase the AT2050’s versatility for close vocal work and high-SPL instruments. Robust metal construction with an enhanced protection grille helps safeguard the capsule, while the supplied AT8458 shock mount and soft protective pouch support stable positioning and safe transport.
