The Audio-Technica ATH-M50xSTS StreamSet is a professional streaming headset combining the closed-back dynamic drivers of the ATH-M50x headphones with a cardioid condenser microphone based on the 20 Series studio microphone range. The headset is equipped with 45 mm large-aperture drivers with rare earth magnets and copper-clad aluminium wire voice coils, delivering an extended frequency response with deep bass reproduction. The microphone is mounted on a flexible boom arm that keeps it close to the mouth to help reject background noise; flipping the boom arm upward mutes the microphone quickly and silently. Two sets of interchangeable earpads are included — standard M50x earpads for audio quality and isolation, and mesh/leatherette earpads for breathability and comfort.

The ATH-M50xSTS is available in two configurations: the analogue model features a 3.5 mm headphone output and XLR microphone output for connection to an audio interface or mixer, with a 6.3 mm adapter included; the ATH-M50xSTS-USB model connects via USB-A for plug-and-play use with PC and Mac, and includes a USB-A to USB-C adapter. The USB model incorporates a high-quality A/D converter supporting up to 24-bit/96 kHz sampling and includes sidetone circuitry so the user can monitor their own voice during use.
