The ATV-SG1LE is a compact plug-in powered on-camera shotgun condenser microphone designed for content creators and videographers using DSLR, mirrorless SLR, or other cameras. A newly designed 14 mm large-diameter diaphragm delivers high sensitivity and low noise for natural, high-resolution audio capture, while the highly directional 100 mm acoustic tube — the same tube used in the flagship ATV-SG1 — keeps pickup focused on the sound source and reduces unwanted background noise. The integrated shock mount dissipates handling noise from camera movement and vibrations, and Audio-Technica's patented noise-immunity technology provides resistance to hum and RF interference from smartphones and other electronic devices.

The ATV-SG1LE is powered directly by plug-in power from the camera, eliminating the need for batteries. A 12-sided shoe mounting plate allows the microphone to be rotated in 30-degree increments for flexible horizontal positioning. A coiled camera cable and wind muff are included. Designed and manufactured in Japan.
