The CYP AU-DTI4-TX is a 4-channel analogue audio to Dante output transmitter. Integrated Dante support extends and routes audio across standard Ethernet networks, making it part of an easier and more flexible approach to managing large audio systems than traditional point-to-point physical wiring. Dante replaces bundles of heavy, expensive multi-core analogue cabling with low-cost, easy-to-manage Cat.5e or Cat.6 cable, while maintaining the high quality expected from uncompressed digital audio.

Because of the packet-based nature of Ethernet data transmission, the traditional problems of long-distance audio extension — analogue signal interference, crosstalk and signal attenuation — are avoided, all with minimal latency (typically around 1ms). The unit is equipped with four analogue mono audio inputs and one Dante output port that can transmit up to 4 digital audio channels, compatible with any standard Dante audio receiver to which the audio is routed. Each input can optionally supply phantom power (5V or 48V) for a connected source such as a microphone, and offers a pre-gain level adjustment.

The unit is powered directly by PoE, allowing greater flexibility in installation location. Basic device configuration is provided by serial over USB, while routing and network configuration management is handled via third-party control software.
