The RE-EDID-4K22 is designed to manage and manipulate the HDMI/DVI EDID information provided to an HDMI source device by a connected display. EDID contains critical information about the capabilities of the connected display, including audio and video format support and HDMI feature support. This product aims to simplify the technical complications that often arise when performing video system integration, home cinema installation, integrating commercial displays, or audio/video equipment testing. It also supports EDID Emulation and Bypass modes, making it well suited to overcoming source and screen compatibility issues, particularly when integrating PCs into an AV system.
