For over 60 years, Audio-Technica has produced and developed cartridges, and the AT3600L is our most popular MM/VM (electromagnetic) model that generates power with a magnet and coil. The original ATN3600L was used in Audio-Technica’s AT-PL30 turntable in 1993 and is still used in some of our most popular turntables, such as the AT-SB727 Sound Burger and the AT-LP60X series, thanks to its stable quality and reliability. 

The venerable and respected ATN3600L conical bonded stylus has been updated to a more modern design, while still maintaining the same ease of use, quality, and sound quality. It will be newly released under the model name ATN3600LC. The ATN3600LE, an elliptical bonded stylus that is a step up in sound quality over the ATN3600L, is also available. Both models are compatible with the ATN3600L so replacement is simple.

The ATN3600LC uses a conical bonded stylus that ensures proper contact with the groove of the vinyl disc, even when the cartridge is set slightly tilted. This model has been updated with a modern design while maintaining the same ease of use, quality, and sound quality. It is compatible with the ATN3600L, so replacing your cartridge is easy.

This product is intended for use with the compatible turntables we have specified.
If using this product with a cartridge or turntable not specified by us, make sure that the turntable has a tracking force adjustment and that it is set to the correct level. We assume no responsibility for damage caused by using this product with an unspecified turntable.
